The ISE believes in the importance
of reaching out to local and national organizations that serve
the community.
BRIDGEPORT - May 29, 2002
The International Securities Exchange (ISE), the electronic options exchange
based in New York, teamed up with the New York Mets and manager Bobby Valentine
to support the Swim. During the entire 2002 season, ISE pledged to donate $250
for each Mets victory, with a minimum donation for the season of $25,000. This
relationship was announced in a press conference at Shea Stadium on May 29, before
a game with the Philadelphia Phillies. ISE President and CEO David Krell was
thrilled to support the Swim and join Bobby Valentine, the Swim Honorary Co-Chairman
with men's fashion designer Joseph Abboud.
